The boys were in a mood so while they were total jerks, eyeing items in the open and such, I was waiting outside on a bench. Dally honestly looked pretty amused at that, but what I said next took that dumb smirk off his face, “Are you always this stupid or is today a special occasion?” Dallas growled at me before returning to his little game. My mouth dropped, like to the ground! It's not that I was super surprised or anything but Dally knows how much I hate them being rude to waitress'. “Summer, why don’t you join us?” Dally smirked. So I grumble and slouch back against the seat I was in. He was never really happy anymore, not with school, constant fights at home, yelling of disappointment, Socs, and so many more things I’m too lazy to list. I didn’t feel like getting hyped right before a movie, because movies are all sitting and no fun. We sat at the bar and the boys got Cokes, but I got water. I sigh, does this boy ever follow the rules? The four of us headed for a drugstore in the shopping center. “What are we gonna do Dally?” Johnny asked expectantly because we were early. This is why I don’t tell him anything I think to myself sarcastically, of course, because we’ve never actually had any secrets from each other. I saw, out of the corner of my eye, Johnny eyeing me. Ponyboy, Johnny and I met up to walk to town together. “Hey, Dal!” Ponyboy said from next to me. ![]()
